Returning The Boat

Hopwood to Alvechurch

A last early start and everybody got cracking on clearing the boat and packing. Managing to avoid all the other returning Alvechurch boats we arrived back at the yard just after 9am, backed onto the mooring and, with great regret, tied up for the last time this year. All our gear was swiftly stowed in the cars and we repaired to the club bar for our pre-booked cooked breakfast. This was excellent value and was a fitting finale to another brilliant week on the cut.
